Do you have a tree that you have a personal connection with? Maybe it's a huge oak your grandfather planted decades ago, a maple that you climbed as a child or any tree that has a shared story in your life. The Findlay Shade Tree Commission is looking for your personal story about that tree! 

 We're collecting these stories for our "Rooted in Findlay" project in celebration of America 250. Trees not only clean our water and air, offer a home to wildlife and support our health and well-being. They also connect all of us together. 

 We'd love for your to submit some photos of your tree and just tell us your story! We'll post some of these stories on the City of Findlay's social media as well as gather them on the Shade Tree Commission's webpage.
