Community Fundraising Underway for America 250 Military Tribute Mural
Post Date:08/17/2026 4:17 PMThe City of Findlay is proud to announce that fundraising is underway for a new large-scale public mural honoring the men and women of the United States Armed Forces while commemorating the 250th anniversary of the United States in 2026. The mural will be located at 310 North Main St. in Downtown Findlay where an existing mural is currently in need of significant repair.
The project will recognize all six branches of the United States military and serve as a lasting expression of gratitude from the Findlay community to veterans, active-duty service members, and their families.
Community Support Needed
The City is seeking support from individuals, businesses, organizations, veterans’ groups, and community members to help bring this meaningful project to life. Funds raised will support the design, materials, installation, and related costs associated with creating the new mural.
Community members and organizations interested in supporting the project can make contributions to the City of Findlay Community Improvement Fund through the Findlay-Hancock County Community Foundation:
Every contribution will help create a lasting tribute to those who have served our country and provide a meaningful addition to Downtown Findlay.
The City invites the Findlay community to join in this effort by supporting the project and helping create a tribute that will honor the service and sacrifice of our nation’s military members for generations to come.
